We have been part of teams, drivers, and organizations dedicated to Motorsports. And so, moved by passion, we decided to take this big step and launch our own brand of motorsports tires.
First, we surrounded ourselves with top global expertise and added high technology. We also bring years of experience. The result? A world-class competition tire with an excellent price-quality ratio.

Gabriel Baracatt
Gabriel Baracatt combines a solid track record in sustainable development and philanthropy with his passion for motorsports, a discipline that has accompanied him since childhood.
Throughout his career, he has led prominent governmental and non-governmental organizations focused on environmental conservation and social development, demonstrating his commitment to a positive and sustainable impact.
His involvement in the world of motorsports deepened when he accompanied his son Tomás in rally racing. Inspired by this experience, he decided to found Baracatt Motorsport Tyres in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. The company began operations in Bolivia and, thanks to his leadership, quickly expanded to other countries, positioning itself as a benchmark in the sector.
Gabriel lives in the countryside in Tarija, Bolivia, with his wife, Julieta Prada, and their three children: Catalina, Tomás, and Candelaria. In addition to leading Baracatt Motorsport, Gabriel is Chairman of the Board of Fundación Avina (www.avina.net) and serves on the boards of various non-governmental and business organizations, reflecting his commitment to comprehensive development and collaborative leadership.
Global Sales Director
Paul Handal
Paul Handal, linked to the world of motorsports since 1984, has been part of this sport as a driver, manager, and global sales and market development director for renowned competition tire brands such as Silverstone and DMACK. He has also served as a team manager in National and World Championships, including the Dakar Rally for five years during its run in South America.
His experience, relationships, and knowledge of rally racing at both regional and global levels are a key asset. As Global Sales Director, he contributes to the growth and expansion of Baracatt Motorsport Tyres.
Paul lives in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and is the father of Laura, Mariel, and Natalia Handal Abularach.
Director of Innovation at Baracatt Motorsport Tyres
Tomás Baracatt
Tomás Baracatt Prada has been involved in motorsports since childhood, first as a karting driver and later as a rally driver.
Academically, he pursued his higher education in Europe, focusing on leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation, which has allowed him to gain innovative experiences in various countries around the world.
This fusion between passion for motorsports and innovation is key to the company’s development. Currently, Tomás serves as Director of Innovation at Baracatt Motorsport Tyres, working on the development and innovation of products, processes, and services within the company. Additionally, he is responsible for the management of CATOCAN SRL, the company that distributes BMT tires and other motorsport-related products in Bolivia.
Tomás is 25 years old and resides in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
Communication - Marketing at Baracatt Motorsport Tyres
Miguel Mattos
Miguel Mattos is an Argentinian sports journalist with a career spanning over two decades dedicated to the world of motorsports.
Since 1999, he has been the communications face of iconic teams such as Pro Racing, Honda Racing, Renault Sport, and AXION energy Sport within TC2000. His experience includes over 15 years as Head of Press for Rally Argentino, where he solidified his expertise in this thrilling sport.
Additionally, he collaborates with renowned international teams such as Honda YPF Racing and Paladini Racing in TCR South America and TCR Brazil.
He is the founder of Concepto Agencia, a communications agency operating in Argentina and Spain, providing services to clients across America and Europe. He has also been responsible for communications at Baracatt Motorsport Tyres since the company’s inception, taking on the challenge of establishing a new tire brand in the demanding world of rally racing.
Since 2024, Miguel has embraced new challenges, becoming the Head of Press for the Argentine Karting Championship.

Argentina
- We arrived in Argentina with Pro Rally.
- We won races and the Cordoba Provincial Championship with Gerardo and Virginia Klus.
- We won races in the Rally Puntano.
- We won in the Rally Misionero in Argentina and became champions with Mazzola – Mazzola.
- We won in the Rally Riojano and became champions with Mazzola – Mazzola.
Australia
- We arrived in Australia with Rally Equip Motorsport.
- Justin Griffin and Pete Hellwig, driving a Mirage G4, achieved 3rd place overall and 1st place in the G4 class at the Bega Valley Rally.
Bolivia
- Victory in Rally Codasur with Fau Zaldivar.
- Victory in Rally Oscar Crespo with Sebastián Careaga.
- We won all classes in the Bolivian National Championship:
- Mariano Aguilera – Rally2 Champion
- Jhonny Tarqui – Proto Champion
- Néstor Tarqui – RC2N Champion
- Ramón Tarqui – R2B Champion
- Daniel Machuca – R1B Champion
Perú
- We won Caminos del Inca with Raúl Velit.
- P1 in Rally 4 at Rally Quilmana.
- P1 in Rally 4 at Rally Presidente de la República.
- P1 in Rally 4 at Rally Sicaya.
- P1 in Rally 4 at Rally Arequipa.
- P1 in Rally 4 at Rally Bicentenario Batalla de Junín.
Ecuador
- In Ecuador, we were suppliers for the Copa Clio with Project 23 Motorsports.
- We won in multiple classes at the 2024 Vuelta al Ecuador.
- José Alvarado and Elvis Ramírez secured 1st place in the T4 class at the Vuelta al Ecuador.
Europa
- We won races and became European champions in the FIA Historic Rally.
- Poland: Mateusz Ostrówka secured 1st place in the K3 class and 8th overall in the 27th edition of Rally Warmiński.
México
- 2nd place with Pier Gozzer Hermoza and Martín Muñoz Hernández (RE-Open class) at the Rally de Puebla, using asphalt tires.
